Glenn J. “Jack” Myers

Glenn J. “Jack” Myers, Sr., 77, of Three Springs, PA, died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.

Born on February 9, 1944 in Nashville, TN, he was the son of the late Joseph E. Myers and Ruth (Coyler) Myers.  He was united in marriage to the former Linda Stains on August 28, 1989.  Mrs. Myers survives at home.

He is survived by children Dana Smith, Chambersburg, PA, Theresa Pagano and husband Anthony, New Kensington, PA, Tina Vasicek and husband John, Manassas, VA, Michael Myers and wife Nichole (Lyons), Apollo, PA and step-son Neil Brown and wife Mary (Kavanaugh), Mechanicsburg, PA.  Thirteen grandchildren, Corey Lake, Zachary Smith, Jesse Smith, A. J. Pagano, Andrew Pagano, Taylor Vasicek, Skylar Vasicek, Alexa Vasicek, Evan Vasicek, Kyra Myers, Brayden Myers, Alexis Saxman and Olivia Brown and six great grandchildren Chloe Lake, Aurora Lake, Silvia Lake, Alexandria Smith, Jayden Smith and Gabriella Pagano also survive.

Brothers Joseph Myers, Saltillo, PA, Gene “Mouse” Myers, Bunnell, FL, Jerry Myers, McConnellstown, PA, and sister Joanne Myers, Orbisonia, PA also survive.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Myers was preceded in death by son Glenn Jacky Myers, Jr., sister Nancy, and granddaughter April Leigh Lake.

During his lifetime, he was employed as a truck driver and later as a crane operator at JLG Industries (Oshkosh), McConnellsburg, PA.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and spending time with family.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 140 McGoverns Lane, McConnellsburg, PA with Rev. John Hodge and Joe Myers officiating.  Friends may call at the church from noon until the time of the service on Wednesday.  Interment will be made privately at a later date at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.
