Glenn F. Cohenour, Sr., 92, of Three Springs, PA died on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
Born on May 30, 1928, he was the son of the late Cecil and Claire (Hamman) Cohenour. He was married to the former Ozora M. Booher on August 2, 1956 in Hagerstown, MD. Mrs. Cohenour preceded in death on August 3, 2010.
Mr. Cohenour is survived by three children, Dreana Trent of Loganville, GA, Glenn F. Cohenour, Jr. and wife Cindy of Shirleysburg, PA, and Denny R. Cohenour of Three Springs, PA. Five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren survive. One sister, Pauline Thomas survives. Brothers Kenneth and Carl Cohenour and sisters Thelma Wilson, Lorna Brumbaugh, Ruth Whitsel, Betty Wible and one infant sister preceded in death.
He was a member of the former Monroe Valley United Methodist Church, RD, Three Springs and later attended Fairview Evangelical Church, RD, Three Springs, PA.
Mr. Cohenour was a veteran of the World War II Era (1946-1949), serving in the United States Army Air Corps.
He retired in 1990 from Lockheed-Martin Aviation, Essex, MD after 40 years as chief of maintenance.
Mr. Cohenour was a lifetime member of the NRA, PA Rifle & Pistol Club, and Madden-Wennick Post 518, Rockhill Furnace, PA.
A graveside service will be held at Monroe Valley Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 with Pastor Jay Frey officiating.
