Geraldine M. (Miller) Devlin

Geraldine Marie Devlin, 85, formerly of Shade Gap, PA died Monday evening, March 16, 2020 at AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA where she had resided for nine years.

Born November 10, 1934 in Tell Township, Huntingdon County, she was the daughter of the late Andrew “Mack” and Hazel (Flood) Miller.  She was married to Russell Eugene Devlin on October 27, 1960. Mr. Devlin preceded in death on July 19, 1984.

Mrs. Devlin is survived by one son John L. Devlin and wife Judy, Shade Gap, PA.

There are two grandchildren, Michael A. Hoffman and companion Brittany Stains, Three Springs, PA and Jessica M. Devlin, Shade Gap, PA.  Also there is a great granddaughter, Catherine Stains.

A brother Eugene Miller and wife Mary Jane survive in Fayetteville, PA.

Two sisters Mary Traxler and Christine DeVinney and two brothers Bobby Miller and Leon Miller are deceased.

A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Devlin was of the Pentecostal Faith and was a faithful follower of Oral Roberts.

A homemaker, she loved baking, watching the birds, and spoiling the family dog Buck.  In her younger days, she enjoyed entertaining her nieces and nephews. At AristaCare, she was an active player in the bingo games.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 20, 2020  at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Wayne Hall officiating.  Interment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Shade Gap, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the hour of service on Friday.
