Gerald E. Snyder

Gerald E. Snyder, 88,of Maddensville Pike, Orbisonia, PA, died Sunday, January 26, 2025 at the home of his nephew at Company Orchard Lane, Orbisonia, PA.

Born October 15, 1936 in Cromwell Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, he was a son of the late Wesley and Helen (Wrigley) Snyder. He was united in marriage to the former Lucinda Rogers on March 3, 1967. Mrs. Snyder survives at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia.

He is also survived by three children, Gina Snyder and her roommate, Linda Forshey of Orbisonia, Westley Snyder and wife Bobbiesue of Three Springs, PA and Toni Snyder of Orbisonia and two grandchildren, Rebecca Snyder and Barry Snyder. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Kaitlin Reed, six brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Snyder retired in 2000 from the Southern Huntingdon County School District where he was employed as a custodian.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.

A memorial service is being planned for a later date.
