Gary L. Anderson, Sr.

Gary L. Anderson, Sr., 71, of Hares Valley Road, Mapleton, PA, died Friday, June 12, 2020 at his home.

Born November 28, 1948 in Cass Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, he was a son of the late Blaine and Ruth (Rogers) Anderson. He was united in marriage to the former Carol Bechtel who survives at AristaCare at Huntingdon Park, Huntingdon, PA.

He is also survived by three children, George Brown and wife Ronda, Dawn Brown and Gary L. Anderson, Jr and wife Lisa, all of RD, Mapleton, PA, fifteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and three siblings, Dorothy Shore and Nancy Witters, both of RD, Mapleton, PA and Donald Anderson of Rockhill Furnace, PA. One daughter, Kathy Anderson, preceded in death.

For most of his life he was employed in pipeline construction.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Valley View Evangelical Church, 19041 Trough Creek Pike, Mapleton, PA.
