Freda L. (Miller) Yohn

Freda L. Yohn, 90, of Rockhill Furnace, PA and most recently Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA died Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born on January 31, 1931 in Rockhill Furnace, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Grissinger) Miller.  She was united in marriage to Ross H. Yohn on April 30, 1950.  Mr. Yohn preceded in death on January 5, 2006.

One daughter,  Peggy Marie (Yohn) Atherton preceded in death.  One grandson, Randy J. Atherton, three step-grandsons, Corey Atherton, Scott Atherton and Danny Atherton, one great-granddaughter, LaKendra Marie Atherton, three great-great-grandchildren and sisters Betty Ramsey and Helen Miller survive.

Mrs. Yohn was preceded in death by brothers Norman Miller, John C. Miller and Ray Miller.

She was a member of the Rockhill Church of the Brethren and the Ladies Auxiliary of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, both of Rockhill Furnace, PA.

During her lifetime, Mrs. Yohn was a homemaker and also was a babysitter.  She also kept in touch with close friends Betts Chilcote and daughter Katelyn.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Rev. Sandra Snyder Shoop officiating.  Interment will be made at I.O.O.F. Memorial Cemetery, Rockhill Furnace, PA.  Friends may call from 6 - 8:00 PM, Sunday evening and one hour prior to the service on Monday.
