Elizabeth (Morgan) Steninger

Elizabeth Steninger, 95, Chambersburg, PA died peacefully Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Paramount Senior Living, Fayetteville, PA.

Born July 22, 1924 at Neelyton, she was the daughter of the late Tennis and Mildred Stella (Roddey) Morgan.

She was married to Alden S. Steninger on April 3, 1943 at Hagerstown, MD.  Mr. Steninger preceded in death on January 31, 2006 after 76 years of marriage.

Mrs. Steninger is survived by a daughter, Sara Jean Steninger,  Chambersburg along with two grandsons Richard Peterson and Robert Peterson, Jr.  There are 14 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Three brothers Joseph Morgan, David Morgan and Charles Morgan also survive.  Four brothers Lee Morgan, Fred Morgan, Dick Morgan and Ed Morgan are deceased.

A homemaker, Mrs. Steninger was a member of the Orbisonia United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at the Orbisonia United Methodist Church, 613 Cromwell Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Ed Seeley officiating.  Interment will be alongside her husband at Three Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour before the service on Tuesday.
