Edward Winters Obituary
Edward T. Winters, 84, of Hares Valley Road, Mapleton, PA, died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at UPMC Altoona.
Born October 23, 1935 at Abington, PA, he was a son of the late Lyle and Mary (Adams) Winters. He was united in marriage to the former Nancy L. Anderson on July 28, 1982 in Bucks County, PA. Mrs. Winters survives at their home.
He is also survived by five children, John Winters, Paul Winters, Mark Winters, Diane Winters and Blaine Winters, a number of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and two siblings, Lyle Winters and May Grafenstine. One son, David Winters, preceded in death.
He was a member of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA and Blue Juniata Post 5754, VFW, Mt. Union, PA.
He was employed for most of his life in auto body repair.
Mr. Winters was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U. S. Air Force.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later time.
