Earl D. Horne, 78, of Shirleysburg, PA died on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at UPMC Altoona.
Born on September 8, 1942 in Dublin Township, Huntingdon County, PA, he was the son of the late Richard P. and Mary S. (McMullen) Horne.
Mr. Horne is survived by a daughter, Lisa Bair and husband Richard of Sarver, PA and three grandchildren Richard, Robert and Rachael. Also surviving are brothers Donald E. Horne and Norman E. Horne both of Mount Union, PA. Six brothers, Chester Horne, Russell Horne, Charles Horne, Raymond Horne, Clyde Horne and Clarence Horne and three sisters, Hazel Horne, Stella Scott and Lena Shields preceded in death.
He was a member of the Vineyard Outreach Center, Shirleysburg, PA.
During his lifetime, Mr. Horne was a construction worker, farmer and had worked for Henkels & McCoy, Blue Bell, PA.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 26, 2020 at Salem Cemetery, RD, Blairs Mills, PA with Rev. Carl Horne officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Vineyard Outreach Center, 18279 Croghan Pike, Shirleysburg, PA.
