Duane D. Clymans went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, April 20, 2025 at Embassy of Woodland Park Orbisonia, PA.
Born on October 1, 1956 in Huntingdon, PA, he was the Son of the late Lester Clymans and Florine (Daughenbaugh) Clymans. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Donald Lightner.
Mr. Clymans is survived by his son Brooks and wife Mandy (Whitsel) Clymans, grandchildren Colten and Brody Clymans, cousin Melody Miller, niece Kimberly (Lightner) Miller and husband Thomas, great nieces and nephews Megan (Eaton) Maxson and husband Zachary, Joel Eaton, Micah Miller, and Eleanor Maxson. Mr. Clymans is also preceded in death by niece Andrea Lightner.
During his lifetime, he worked for Henkles and McCoy as a Cable Splicer.
Mr. Clymans grew up in Shirleysburg, PA. He was a graduate of Mount Union Area High School, class of 1974. He loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles. He was known for his ability to ride a wheel stand from one end of Shirleysburg to the other. Mr. Clymans was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed classic rock and roll, and watching sitcom television shows.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Dan Mansberger providing encouraging words. Following the conclusion of the visitation, a graveside service will be held at Germany Valley Cemetery, Shirleysburg, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
