Dorothy L. Stains, 85, of Three Springs, PA died on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at her home.

Born October 26, 1934 in Three Springs, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Emma (Whitsel) Jenkins.

She married William A. Stains on March 2, 1963. Mr. Stains preceded in death on August 23, 1995.

Mrs. Stains is survived by three daughters: Ann Marie Book of Three Springs; Debra Luttrell of Mount Union, PA; and Pamela Cohenour of Three Springs, PA. Also surviving are five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Five sisters survive: Ruth Hicks; Sylvia Klepping; Yvonne Thomas; Marjorie Stake; and Patricia Speer. Four brothers, Harold Beatty, Merrill Jenkins, Janvier Jenkins, Herman Jenkins, and two sisters, Eleanor Lancaster and Pauline Scott preceded in death.

During her lifetime, she was a homemaker. She enjoyed taking walks and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Stains attended Grace United Methodist Church, Three Springs, PA.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will be having private services with Rev. Dennis Hunsinger officiating. Interment will be made at Three Springs Cemetery, Three Springs, PA.
