Donald E. Lightner, 72, of Shirleysburg, PA, died Monday, May 6, 2024 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, Huntingdon, PA.
Born on August 16, 1951 in Huntingdon County, PA he was the son of the late Richard C. Lightner, Jr. and Florine “Rene” (Daughenbaugh) Clymans.
Mr. Lightner is survived by daughter Kimberly (Lightner) Miller and husband Thomas, West Mifflin, PA, grandchildren Megan (Eaton) Maxson and husband Zachary, Joel Eaton and Micah Miller, brother Duane Clymans and nephew Brooks Clymans.
He is also survived by cousin Melody Miller.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter Andrea Lightner.
Mr. Lightner was a member of the Masonic Lodge, F. & A. M. in the Pittsburgh area.
During his lifetime, he worked as a financial planner who enjoyed golfing in his spare time.
A visitation will be held from 2 - 4:00 PM, Friday, May 10, 2024 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA. A graveside service will be at 9:30 AM, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at Germany Valley Cemetery, Shirleysburg, PA.
