Donald T. Jenkins

Donald T. Jenkins, 92, died Monday, November 2, 2020 at AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA, where he had been a resident.

Born January 23, 1928 in Cromwell Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, he was a son of the late Joseph and Ellen (Dubbs) Jenkins. He was united in marriage to the former Jacqueline H. Mellott on January 21, 1950. Mrs. Jenkins survives at AristaCare at Woodland Park.

He is also survived by three daughters, Diana Noel and her husband Andrew of Mt. Union, PA, Sue Zinobile and her husband Thomas of RD, Mapleton, PA and Donna Fay Jenkins of Mt. Union, PA, six grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three siblings, Mary Cohenour, Three Springs, PA, Kate O’Neil of Lakeland, FL and Carl Jenkins of Chambersburg, PA. Four brothers and one sister, preceded in death. 

Mr. Jenkins was a member of the Pentescostal Freedom Church, Mt. Union, PA, Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA and the Orbisonia Lions Club.

He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA after 35 years service.

Mr. Jenkins was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U. S. Navy as a meterologist.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, November 5, 2020 at the Monroe Valley Cemetery, RD, Three Springs, PA.
