Delores O. (Traxler) Wible

Delores O. “Dot” Wible, 91, of Orbisonia, PA, died Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born on August 29, 1933 in Huntingdon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Jenny (Hoffman) Traxler.  She was united in marriage to Harold E. Wible on August 21, 1954.  Mr. Wible preceded in death on December 27, 2005.

Mrs. Wible is survived by children Debra Moore, Three Springs, PA, Harold Wible, Jr. and wife Linda, Mifflintown, PA and Trena McElrath and husband William, Orbisonia, PA, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother Joseph Traxler, Fayetteville, PA and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by siblings Gwendolyn Cooper, Betty Brumbaugh, Florence Marks, Paul Traxler, Jr. and infant sister Joyce Traxler.

Mrs. Wible attended the Rockhill Church of the Brethren, Rockhill Furnace, PA for many years.

During her lifetime, she attended school until the 9th grade, was mainly a homemaker, wife and mother and had volunteered at the Orbisonia Food Pantry for 5 years.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
