David L. Price

David L. Price, 62, of Shade Gap, PA, died Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon, Huntingdon, PA.

Born on October 28, 1958 in Shade Gap, PA he was a son of the late James O. Price and Anna Mae (Parson) Price, who survives of Shade Gap, PA.  He was united in marriage to the former Sue A. Aller on January 16, 1988.  Mrs. Price survives at home.

He is survived by daughter Candy Price-Winnick and husband Thomas, III, Mt. Union, PA , son Andy Price and wife Allison, Wells Tannery, PA, granddaughter Adeline Price and brother James J. Price and wife Cathy, Shade Gap, PA.

He is also survived by his best friend — dog Cletus.

A brother, Daniel J. Price preceded him in death..

He was a member of Post 561, American Legion, McConnellsburg, PA.

Mr. Price was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving from 1979 - 1983.

During his lifetime, he worked as a mechanic at Oshkosh (formerly JLG Industries) from 1985 until his retirement in 2014.

Mr. Price enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing and John Wayne westerns.
