Cula B. Myers

Cula B. Myers, 92, of Burnt Church Road, Honey Grove, PA, died Monday, August 12, 2019 at her home.

Born March 8, 1927 at Blairs Mills, PA, she was a daughter of the late Oran and Margaret (McMullen) Smith. She was united in marriage to John James Myers on March 5, 1950. Mr. Myers preceded in death on June 9, 2019.

She is survived by four siblings, Evelyn Bucher and husband Kirby and Edith Hockenberry, all of Rockhill Furnace, PA, Earl Smith of Orbisonia, PA and Wilbur Smith and wife Holly of Shirleysburg, PA. Two brothers, William and Donald Smith, three sisters, Blanche Shaw, Edna Souders and Mary Singer and a half sister, Viola Snyder, preceded in death.

Mrs. Myers was of the Methodist faith. During her life she was employed as a seamstress at various sewing factories in Marysville, Port Royal, Duncannon and Shippensburg, PA.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bingo and loved her dog Tucker.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, August 15, 2019 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA with Rev. David Ford officiating. Interment will be made at Salem Cemetery, RD, Blairs Mills, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
