Craig C. McMullen, Sr.

Craig C. McMullen, Sr., 60, of Blairs Mills, PA, died Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at his home.

Born October 23, 1964 at Huntingdon, PA, he was the son of the late David “Bub” and Betty Jane (Traxler) McMullen. He is survived by his stepmother, Mary (Montague) McMullen of Shade Gap, PA. He was united in marriage to the former Kim Rife on May 28, 2005. Mrs. McMullen survives at their home.

He is also survived by one son, Craig C. McMullen, Jr. and wife Brittney of Mt. Union, PA, one stepdaughter, Lori Monn and companion David Guyer of Chambersburg, PA, a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren and one brother, David D. McMullen and wife Ruth of Spring Run, PA. He was preceded in death by one sister, Alma Jane McMullen.

Mr. McMullen was a member of the Shade Gap Area Fire Company, Cromwell Lodge #572, F. & A. M., Orbisonia, PA and the Dry Run American Legion.

He had been employed by New Enterprise Stone and Lime Company as a heavy equipment operator.

He was an avid hunter and sportsman who also loved gardening and his cats.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 31, 2025 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St., Orbisonia, PA. Interment will be made at Fair Ridge Cemetery, Shade Gap, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
