Clyde William Freeman of Orbisonia, PA, born August 4, 1951, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2022 at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg, PA.
He is the son of the late Clyde and Agnus (Emery) Freeman of Orbisonia, PA.
Mr. Freeman is survived by daughter Wendy Freeman Anderson of Rockhill Furnace, PA, three grandchildren, Tyi McCartney of Rockhill Furnace, PA and Kyle Smith and wife Savanah of Orbisonia, PA and Alexys Anderson of Rockhill Furnace, PA, five great grandchildren, Faylinn Smith, Tucker McCartney, Theigha Smith, Tyitan Smith and Cambrie McCartney, brother Gary Freeman and wife Mary of Hagerstown MD, sisters Karen Beatty of Shirleysburg, PA and Kim Freeman of Orbisonia, PA, three nephews Gregory Freeman, Lawrance Ray Beatty, John Beatty and niece Kari Freeman Divack.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Rick Freeman.
Clyde enjoyed going to The Caboose in Orbisonia, owned by his former wife Patricia Freeman, for ice cream, walking his dogs and playing bingo at the Orbisonia Lions Club, where he was also a member.
He was a graduate of the Southern Huntingdon County High School - Class of 1970.
Mr. Freeman was a member of Madden-Wennick Post 518, American Legion, Rockhill Furnace, PA.
He was loved and will be missed by many. No viewing or funeral service will be held.
A Celebration of Life dinner will be held at the Orbisonia Lions Club at a later date.
