Christopher R. Parsons

Christopher Robert Parsons, 65, of Blairs Mills, PA, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Chambersburg Hospital.

Born August 7, 1959 in Huntingdon, PA, he was a son of the late Robert W. Parsons and Ramona (Moore) Parsons, who survives of Blairs Mills.

He is survived by one brother, Martin Parsons and wife Lisa, two nephews, Nathan and wife Monique, Nicholas and wife Laurie, one niece, Aidiana and two great nephews, Owen and Conrad.

Chris was a graduate of Stratford Military Academy, Stratford, NJ and the Shade Gap Christian School. 

He participated in many non competitive sports which included roller skating, water skiing, snow skiing, snowmobiling and motorcycling.

He was privileged to travel with his family across the country several times to attend the Passion Play in Spearfish, SD and further west to Salt Lake City where he heard the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The trip also included seeing Old Faithful in Wyoming and the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Other trips have included Nova Scotia, Niagara Falls, the St. Lawrence Seaway, Key West and New Orleans. He also had the opportunity to enjoy several cruises to the Caribbean.

He was a member of the Fair Ridge Assembly of God Church, Shade Gap, Pa and attended St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, Shade Gap.

He had been employed at The Dream in Hollidaysburg, PA and at Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, March 28, 2025 at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, 11691 Circle St., Shade Gap, PA with Pastor Patty Hall officiating. Interment will be made at Salem Cemetery, Blairs Mills, PA. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
