Charles G. Taylor

Charles G. Taylor, 56, of Union City, NJ, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.

Born on January 9, 1968 in Huntingdon, PA he was the son of the late Barry E. Taylor and Florence “Lou” (Miller) Smith and step-father Robert Smith, Sr., who survive of Three Springs, PA.

In addition to his mother and step-father, he is survived by siblings Barry “Bill” Taylor, Barron Taylor, Robert Smith, Jr. and Rachelle Dell and friend Brian Fuller.

Mr. Taylor was a graduate of Southern Huntingdon County High School – Class of 1986.  During his time at SHC, he was a drum major in the band and participated in several writing competitions organized by the Huntingdon Daily News.  He was a very talented writer.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.

During his lifetime, he worked as a courier in the shipping and distribution industry.  He loved to cook and bake and also loved his cat, “Narf”, very much.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
