Calvin F. McMullen

Calvin F. McMullen, 82, of McMullen Road, Blairs Mills, PA, died Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at his home.

Born July 28, 1940 in Tell Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, he was a son of the late Doras and Martha (Zitch) McMullen. He was united in marriage to the former Jean Bradnick on December 21, 1963. Mrs. McMullen survives at their home.

He is also survived by three children, Tim McMullen and companion Penny Richards of Blairs Mills, Lori Booher and husband William of Shirleysburg, PA, Therese Brown and companion Billy Colyer of Shade Gap, PA, three grandchildren, Phillip McMullen, Cody Booher and Johnathan Miller, two great grandchildren, Trinidi McMullen and Layton Booher and five siblings, Emory McMullen of Dry Run, PA, George McMullen of Chambersburg, PA, Dale McMullen of Blairs Mills, Donna Holden of Orbisonia, PA and Clyde McMullen of Dry Run. He was preceded in death by one son, Calvin Dean McMullen and one brother, Warren McMullen.

Mr. McMullen attended the Salem United Methodist Church, Blairs Mills. 

He was employed at De Rose Industries, Inc., Chambersburg, PA.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and also enjoyed NASCAR, dirt track racing and talking on his CB radio. His handle was “Outlaw”. He was also very fond of his dog, Chico.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 27, 2023 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley St. Orbisonia, PA with Rev. William Bair officiating. Interment will be made at Salem Cemetery, Blairs Mills, PA. Friends may call at the funeral home 6 - 8 PM on Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday.
