Bryan D. Snyder

Bryan David Snyder, 46, Burnt Cabins, PA died Thursday, July 9, 2020 at his home.  His death was unexpected.

Born November 19, 1973 at McConnellsburg, PA, he was the son of Larry and Sandra (Glunt) Snyder.  His father is deceased and his mother survives of Burnt Cabins.

He is survived by two sons: Austin David Snyder and companion Ashley, Chester, SC and Mason Sean Snyder, York, SC.  One grandson, Zachary Sean Snyder, survives of Chester, SC.

Also surviving is a sister, Amy Lynn Snyder, Charlotte, NC and a brother Christopher Larry Snyder, Burnt Cabins.

Additional survivors are his uncle Leonard “Jay” Snyder and his aunt and uncle Barbara and Donald Slodysko, Burnt Cabins, PA.

Also preceding Bryan in death were his maternal grandparents Robert “Bobby” and Maudlene  (Cook) Glunt and his paternal grandparents Leonard and Lorma (Rinker) Snyder. 

Bryan was raised and lived in Pennsylvania til 1986 when his parents moved to South Carolina.  He graduated from York High School in 1993.  Over the years until his death he worked in Pennsylvania and South Carolina.  His most recent job was a forklift operator for JLG Industries, McConnellsburg, PA.

He loved to hunt and fish whenever possible and his most proud possession was his Dodge Ram truck.  Even though it needed painted, he had all the original papers and parts from the original purchase.

Bryan shared many friends both in Pennsylvania and South Carolina.

He attended Fair Ridge Assembly of God, Church, Shade Gap, PA.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Pastor Berry Brown officiating.  Interment will be at Locke’s Valley Cemetery, RD, Shade Gap, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
