Brenda M. (Kough) Brodbeck

Brenda M. Brodbeck, 75, of Saltillo, PA, died Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Penn Highlands Tyrone Hospital, Tyrone, PA.

Born on April 12, 1948 in Three Springs, PA she was the daughter of the late Max L. and Anzinetta M. (Wible) Kough.  She was united in marriage to Robert Brodbeck on June 18, 1967.  Mr. Brodbeck survives at home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Brian Brodbeck and wife Sherry, Saltillo, PA and Sean Brodbeck and wife Annette, Mt. Union, PA.  Also surviving are grandchildren Brianna R. Brodbeck, Ian C. Brodbeck, Jenelle H. Brodbeck and Abigail M. Brodbeck, step-grandchildren Anthony J. Lingle and Zachary R. Lingle, great-granddaughter Atalie A. Maloyed and step-great-grandchildren Rebecca G. Lingle and Wynter J. Lingle.

Two brothers, Robert Kough and wife Margaret and Thomas Kough and wife Patricia, both of Saltillo, PA also survive.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers.

Mrs. Brodbeck was a member of the First Baptist Church of Saltillo, PA.

During her lifetime, she retired from the Spring Farms Elementary School, where she served in the cafeteria and later as manager.  She also delivered copies of the Huntingdon Daily News to the local community.  She was an avid bowler, enjoyed going to church, attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, bingo and spending time with her family.  Her grandchildren were everything to her. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Martin R. Brown Funeral Home, 565 Ridgley Street, Orbisonia, PA with Rev. David Ford officiating.  Interment will be at Saltillo Cemetery, Saltillo, PA.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Saturday.
