Bonnie A. Geissinger

Bonnie A. Geissinger, 76, formerly of Huntingdon, PA, died Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born May 13, 1948 at Huntingdon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Amos Eugene and Dorothy Mae (Heffner) Whitesel. 

She is survived by two daughters, Debra Mae Sheeder and husband Carl of Cassville, PA and Lisa Baker and husband Rick of Huntingdon, PA, four grandchildren, Brittany Finotti, Christopher Baker, Randall Sheeder and Kurtis Sheeder and six great grandchildren, Lukas Skipper, Liam Skipper, Carter Sheeder, Claire Sheeder, Theo Finotti and Remington Sheeder. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Timothy Skipper, Jr, one sister, Janet Henry and two brothers, Bill and Tom Whitesel.

Ms. Geissinger was a member of the Knitwits Club, Huntingdon, PA. For years she made hats and lap blankets for cancer patients and others in the community and also knitted baby sweater sets for those in the area.

She was employed for many years at the former U. S. Sports, Inc., Huntingdon and then as a bartender at various establishments in the area.

A Celebration of Life service is being planned for a later date.
