Betty J. Fleck, 93, of Sunny Side Lane, Three Springs, PA, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at her home.
Born on November 26, 1927 in Cromwell Township, PA, she was the daughter of the late Estal “Joe” and Alice (Ickes) Flasher. She was united in marriage to Lewis Fleck in March of 1951. Mr. Fleck survives at home.
Mrs. Fleck is survived by her children Estal Fleck and wife Rhonda, Beverly Myers and husband Ty, Sharon Wible and husband Brian, all of Three Springs, PA and children reared in her home, John Zeilinger and wife Tamara, Louise Detwiler and husband Kevin, Sue Waite and husband Dawson, all of Three Springs, PA, and Scott Zeilinger and companion Judy Thomas of New Grenada, PA.
She is survived by grandchildren Jason Fleck and wife Dana, Heather Brown and husband Brandon, Tyson Myers and wife Tara, Kara Senft and husband Brett, Lindsey Benner and husband Christopher, Bryant Wible and wife Brianna, Dakota Waite and wife Danielle, Hunter Waite and wife Catherine, Brooke Zeilinger, Angelea Forgy and husband Darren, Dalton Zeilinger, Kevin Detwiler, Jr, and great grandchildren, Chloe Brown, Tyce Senft, Lenna Senft, Greta Myers, and Delilah Waite. One brother, Jack Flasher, also survives.
Mrs. Fleck is also survived by special friend and neighbor, Stacey Harclerode.
One sister, Miriam Cornelius and one great-grandson, Evan Dallas Fleck preceded in death.
She was a graduate of Orbisonia High School, class of 1946. She was employed at the sewing factory in Mt. Union, PA and was later a homemaker.
Mrs. Fleck was a member of the former Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Three Springs, PA where she was a Sunday School Teacher. She later attended Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, Three Springs, PA.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved watching and feeding birds, especially cardinals.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, December 18, 2020 at Grace United Methodist Church, 8634 Hudson Street, Three Springs, PA with Pastor Faith Anderson officiating. Interment will be at Three Springs Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Friday.
Due to COVID-19, there will be no meal after the funeral service on Friday.
