Barbara L. Benson

Barbara L. Benson, 73, of Three Springs, PA, died Monday, April 6, 2020 at AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia, PA.

Born April 15, 1946 at Huntingdon, PA, she was a daughter of the late Oscar and Lillian (Hefright) Everetts. She was united in marriage to Larry L. Benson on July 28, 1967. Mr. Benson survives at their home.

She is also survived by three children, Susan Wiser of Orbisonia, PA and William Benson and Mary Cramer, both of Three Springs, PA, eight grandchildren, one great grandson and five siblings, Wanda Hess of Shirleysburg, PA, Marcia Kyle of Alexandria, PA, Joyce Try of Greencastle, PA, Glenda Baker of RD, Mapleton, PA and Wayne Everetts of Huntingdon, PA.

Mrs. Benson was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Three Springs, PA, a lifelong member of the Three Springs Volunteer Fire Company and their ladies auxiliary and a member of the Three Springs Senior Center and the Ladies Auxiliary of AristaCare at Woodland Park.

During her life she was employed at the Shirley Home for the Aged, AristaCare at Woodland Park, Sandy Ridge Market, Orbisonia, PA and the former Arrow Shirt Factory, Huntingdon, PA.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Three Springs Cemetery with Pastor Ron Folk officiating.
