Anna E. Park, 91, of Hares Valley Road, Mapleton, PA, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon.
Born October 25, 1929 in Clay Twp., Huntingdon Co., PA, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Dorothy (Trout) Rupert. She was united in marriage to Harold E. Park on September 4, 1948 at Cassville, PA. Mr. Park preceded in death on June 6, 2013.
She is survived by one daughter, Glenda Zinobile and her husband Michael of Hares Valley Road, Mapleton, PA, one daughter in law, Kathy Park of Lake Ariel, PA, seven grandchildren, Angela Zinobile, Michael Zinobile and wife Brenda, Joe Zinobile, Jason Zinobile and wife Ramonda, Dana Cisney and husband Jeff, Kevin Park and wife Becca and Ryan Park and wife Regan, fifteen great grandchildren, Abigail Knowles, Michael Quinn Zinobile, Emma Zinobile, Julisa Williams, Telah Zinobile, Elizabeth Zinobile, Jacob Zinobile, Sarah Cisney, Aiden Cisney, Brody Park, Hannah Park, Jenna Park, Jorydan Park, Zachary Park and Brynn Park and two great great grandchildren, Emberlee Williams and Cordell Williams.
She is also survived by two sisters, Cora Lutz and her husband Evans of Boise, ID and Sandra Samiec and her husband Richard of Mercersburg, PA and one sister in law, Marjorie Rupert of Three Springs, PA. She was preceded in death by one son, Jamie Park, one brother, Harold Rupert and one sister, Freda Mengel.
Mrs. Park was a member of the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, Saltillo, PA. She was also a member of the Rosebud Quilt Guild, Huntingdon, PA.
She was employed for many years at Community State Bank of Orbisonia. Prior to that she was employed at the Saltillo Telephone Company and Rockhill Sportswear, Inc.
She will be remembered for her beautiful handmade quilts and her ice cream cakes. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the Calvary Independent Baptist Church, 20258 Main St., Saltillo, PA with Pastor Dan Long officiating. Interment will be made at Cornelius Chapel Cemetery, RD, Mapleton, PA. Friends may call at the church 6 - 8 PM on Friday and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
