Andrea J. (Flood) Eads

Andrea Joyce (Flood) Eads, age 85, of Blairs Mills, PA, passed away on October 8, 2024, at the Hershey Medical Center.

Andrea was born on April 24, 1939, in Philipsburg, PA, to Paul Warren Flood and Katherine Joyce (Herman) Flood.  Andrea and her parents moved to Maryland in the early 1950’s, where she attended school and worked.  She met and married the love of her life, James Edgar Eads Sr. on June 3, 1961, and they were blessed with 3 sons; James Jr., David, and Paul.  After raising their boys, they eventually retired and returned back to the family farm in Blairs Mills, PA.  Andrea was a member of St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Shade Gap, PA.

Andrea is survived by her husband, James, along with their three sons and their wives, James Jr. (Linda), David (Donna), and Paul Sr. (Angela); two grandsons, Paul Jr. and James III (Felisha); step-grandson, Joseph (Sarah) and their sons, Logan and Hunter.  Andrea is also survived by her lifelong friend, Norma Holter, and special friends/family Ramona Parsons and Lena Berrier.  The family would also like to acknowledge April Keebaugh for her kindness and wonderful care in Andrea’s final years.  

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Salem Cemetery, 20162 Salem Road, Blairs Mills, PA with Pastor Patty Hall officiating. A luncheon will be served following the service at St. Luke's United Methodist Church, 11691 Circle St., Shade Gap, PA.
