Amy J. Youtzy, 57, of State College, PA, died Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at Suburban Community Hospital, East Norriton, PA.
Born on November 17, 1964 she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Youtzy and Erma (Jaymes) Crouse, who survives in Needmore, PA. She was married to Douglas Stegner who preceded in death.
Ms. Youtzy is survived by companion Jay Simonson, with whom she met over 30 years ago while shooting pool.
In addition to her mother and companion, she is survived by sons Mark Stegner and wife Amanda, Big Ben, WI, Todd Youtzy and wife Joanna, Fort Bliss, TX, Douglas Stegner-Youtzy, Martinsburg, WV and grandchildren Jaymes and Jade.
Ms. Youtzy was a member of the State College V.F.W., Post 321.
During her lifetime, she enjoyed gardening, shooting pool and animal rescue.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Shade Gap Presbyterian Church, 11700 Town Hill St., Shade Gap, PA with Rev. Darwin Goshorn officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
