Althea J. Miller, 79, of Shade Gap, PA, died August 4, 2026 at the Embassy of Woodland Park.

Born on February 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Russell and Eileen (Crozier) Flasher. She was united in marriage to William Miller. Mr. Miller survives at home.

She is survived by three children Melinda Wright, William Miller, Jr. and Diane Bonsall. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and four siblings.

One sibling preceded her in death.

Althea attended the St. Luke's United Methodist Church.

During her life she most enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She taught them many things including gardening, crafting, sewing and much more. She shared her love of hot tea with them and would make it for them often. Along with that, she enjoyed music and being outdoors.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Fair Ridge Assembly of God, Shade Gap, PA with Pastor Glenn Rouselle officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
