Albert P. Jackson, Jr., 84, of Chambersburg, PA, died Friday, March 25, 2022 at his home.

Born on December 24, 1937 in Clayton, WI, he was the son of the late Harry and Jewel (Sather) Middendorp. He was united in marriage to Peggy A. Bradnick. Mrs. Jackson survives at home.

He is survived by children Julie Jackson, Jodi Jackson, Gary Jackson and Shari Jackson, step-daughter Alicia Stiltner and her son Brian Jackson and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are siblings Jerry Jackson and wife Rae, Jane Tabor, Allen Middendorp and wife Marguerite, Jeanette Burke and husband Fred and Larry Middendorp and wife Donna and sister-in-law Sylvia Jackson.

Mr. Jackson was preceded in death by brothers Harry “Peachey” Middendorp, Jr and Ronald Jackson.

He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

During his lifetime he was employed as a truck driver by Schneider Transport, Green Bay, WI. He was the best-all around person, a great father and husband, honest and trustworthy.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
